Jacob Levy Moreno, my person admire

Jacob Levi Moreno is a very important exponent of psicodrama. The psicodrama is a group technique inspired in theater of improvisation and belongs to humanist psychology. Jacob Levi Moreno was born in city Bucarest, Rumania in 1889 . He grew up in Viena, Austria. There he studied medicine at Unversity in Viena. When he studied medicine he rejected Freud´s idea and he focussed his theory in the group technique to apply it in psychological therapy. Later Moreno go to New York, United States in 1925. In this place he continued with his experimental studies with children. He worked at University of Columbia and the New Social Research School. Jacob Levy Moreno studied with Carl Gustav Jung. He died in 1974.

Moreno created psicodrama because people live in groups, work, play, learn and enjoy in groups. Psicodrama is a method which cordinate group action. Psicodrama is a technique used aroun the world. Specifically Argentina has a lot quantity of psicodrama´s booklist.

I like Jacob Levy Moreno because he created a new way of treating the patient and this way is consistent with the way I see people.

Cuzco, my favorite place

In the last vacations I visited Cuzco with my friends. We went to Peru, because our destination was Machupichu. Our first stop was at Cuzco, Peru. It´s a very beautiful and old city. At the center of Cuzco is the city square. The square is covered with flowers, and it’s surrounded by three cathedrals. These cathedrals are very imposing and beautiful.
At Cuzco people is very nice, though a bit shy. The Cuzco´s people dresses of autochthonous form, with many colors. As well, in Cuzco there are many museums, which are really interesting because they tell the history of the Aztec people.
When I was there I love this place, because was very friendly for tourist, the many cheap restaurants and many crafts. Definitively I recommend it.

The earthquake

The night of earthquake I was in a friend´s apartment. But before, I was in a party in another friend´s apartment, on the floor seventeenth. In this party, me and my friends, were watching T.V., at that hour Ricardo Arjona was performing in the Festival de Viña, besides we asked for pizza before. About one in the morning my friend Yazna with her boyfriend Sebastián, Pablo, my boyfriend and me walked to Sebastián´s apartment. When we got home we slept. We were on the third floor. In that moment bulding began to move, I was very scared and my boyfriend calm me down. My friend Yazna screamed and I got a shock when listened her scream. Then, when earthquake finished I called my mother on the phone and she was crying. At seven in the morning I returned my home by car.

My introduction

I´m Maite Agurto Jara, my name means "my beloved", it´s very romantic. I study psychology in the University of Chile. I love psychology and I like to go to class. I´m twenty one years old. Besides I go to the program Superate Chile meeting, this program gives help to young people to give the PSU. I like to read novels, my favorite book is "Antigua vida mía" of Marcela Serrano, she is Chilean. I live with my family in a house, in Santiago Chile. My mother is María Luisa Jara Medel, she is a school driver and she is a teacher too, she started to study this carrer in 2006 at the University Arturo Prat. My mother is fifty five years old. She is very funny and she likes dancing. My father is Oscar Manuel Agurto Aguirre, he is a school driver. My father is sixty six years old. He is very intelligent and reserved. My parents have a good relation, they love each other. And the last member of my family is my brother. He is Francisco Esteban Agurto Jara. Francisco is nineteen years old. My brother studies food engineering.
