My experience with English

The language English, at the moment, when we are in century XXI is very important. The reason of this is that the language English is the language use at EE.UU. and this country is the largest superpower around the world. For this cause, the others countries have that learn English, because this form they can come at the phenomenal of Globalization. Globalization allows other countries to have economic growth. That is for this argument that, in this country, Chile, all children should learn this language.
In my personal experience, I have had class of language English since kinder garden until the fourth grade. In that course I learned things very basics like the names of animals, the name of fruits, the name of week days and some colors. And this form I have class of English for during school, same that a lot children. But, although I has class in all my school life, I did not learn that language for many reasons. I believe that this reasons were for example that I did not like the English, as well my teachers did not talk to each English, and I believe that this is very important for learn of a language, whatever this. Besides, the teachers didn´t use the infrastructure specializing in learn English, like the laboratory of idioms.
In other phase of my life, when I went at study at University of Chile, my experience with language has been different. Although I don´t learn English still, I believe that know a little more about of this language. When I went at first year of psychology, I take English 1 and I began to learn. I must emphasize that when I began this class, I proposed to myself have suggested a willingness to learn. And, now, when I is in English 4 believe that this proposal helped me.
In this moment, remember my process with English at University and believe that I´ve learned a lot. I know that I am not an expert and, and I have much to learn, but I thing that, at least, I have a desire to keep learning. I rescued, of this process, the good disposition of teachers, some more than other, and something very important for me, the people that I met. I felt supported them, because everyone had the same problem.

My sabbatical year! =)

I would like to have a sabbatical year. I thought it in the secondary, but I had others thinks more important in this moment, or I believed it. But in this moment of my life I regret, because now I only think in my life when I finish the career and work. Although, anyway I would like to have a sabbatical year… I think it more seriously.
I consider very necessary to have a free year, because in this year, I think that rest in all sphere. Besides, I know more places, and I love know different places.
I would like travel by plane to Europe, and know a lot of countries. For example I would like know Greece, Italy, France, Spain, England, Germany, between others. The country that I love is France. I think that is very romantic, and I love accent of language of they. Apart from I like films French like Amelie or Delicatessen. Besides I think that Italy is very romantic too. I watch films Italian and I like landscape. As well I watch films greek, and fascinate me the beautiful nature. For this reasons is that I would like travel to Europe.
When I is in Europe, the first thing that I would like is go to the “Eiffel´s tower” and take a many photo. Later go to the restaurant for try the French food´s.
Besides I would like go to Italy and see the “Pizza´s tower” and take the typical photo.
Finally, I would like go to Greece and know the historical ruins.
I want to have a sabbatical year, now!!

I think that a massive environmentally friendly culture doesn´t exist, because in the last years a consciousness of caring the planet haven´t existed. This happened because the planet was not so contaminated. But recently there exists an increasing interest by this topic. It is for this reason that in the schools they teach about this important topic. I think that kids know very much about the environmentally friendly practices, because they learn in their classes and through programs for children. Many programs are so educative in this topic, and I think that adults have to see those programs too.
I myself admit that I don´t think in environmentally friendly practices frequently. In the last year my family recycled milk boxes. But, now in the supermarket there is no box for things recycled. I always throw rubbish in rubbish dumps and tell people to throw rubbish in rubbish dumps as well.
I love cycling, but I admit that I don´t use it much because it is very dangerous to ride on the streets and there is the risk that someone steals my bike. Besides there exists the risk of having an accident with a car. The true is that I am very fearful.
I don´t support any eco-organisations, because I don´t know any. I know that there are some such as “greenpeace” because I don´t have contact with them. But I would like collaborate with them.
In my society this topic is not so discussed, the same as in the planet. I think that there is concern about environmentally friendly practices, but not as it is needed.
I think that all people have to help to decontaminate the land, because it is a problem that affects the whole world. Everyone lives in this land, but we don´t care it, and at any moment this will be fatal. Actually few persons have the consciousness about environmentally friendly practices, and I think that the hope is in children, because they are more conscious about it.

Wild party,... yeah!

My wildest party was earlier this year in celebration of the first week of classes. That day in the afternoon I met with my friends who study engineering in Beauchef and we went to get an ice cream in the center and let our boyfriends, who are friends among them and that all study engineering as well. After taking ice cream, talking and laugh a lot, us (Yazna, Luli, Chio, Caro and I) went back to the college, because our boyfriends were a little upset, because Caro wanted to make her boyfriend jealous, and we make them a joke. When we reached the school the party had started. We all get together and started dancing. I was very thirsty and my boyfriend gave me a drink. Then all went to buy drinks. We wanted to drink rum. Then we start drinking and we played the fourth king, until some began to get drunk and started dancing. Then came a band to play live. They played "pachanguera" music and all began to jump. It was crazy; everyone danced and sang all the songs in chorus. Then began the regueton. People at this point were very drunk and began to move in strange ways. Here my boyfriend started to get nervous because some young people began to fight. At that time we decided to leave, because it was too late and it was getting dangerous.
The next day I found out that after we left had come the police because the neighbors complained about the mess. Also a child was carry to the hospital as he fell from the stairs.
I think this was a wild party because it had everything, good music, my friends and my boyfriend. Besides I had an excellent time and, for that night, I forget my problem and have a good time. The only bad thing was that the next day we woke up with headache. But no one takes away the fun we had.

I love you, but...

This piece of news is about relationships between couples. Is an interview that was conducted at a number of couples who had been for a long time together. They told which was their first impression on their husbands or wives, and how had developed their love.
In general, through this interview, we can notice that, at first, the couples thought they would not be together ever, since their first impression on the other was that they were very different people, but then with the time they realized that their prejudices were unfounded.
We note, in these relationships, at first, when they don’t know the other, they reject the other based on their first impression and prejudice. For example, in the interview, one of the wives said: " Adam was wearing these jean culottes, like jean shorts, and this thought flashed through my head: I could not have sex with a guy who wore jean culottes." Here you may notice a physical type bias, because her impression is based on the shorts he uses, and this is the kind of people she does not see on a future relationship. Or another example would be the case of the husband who thought: “‘She’s really pretty’ but I Also Thought She Seemed shallow and a little immature.” Here we see a Prejudice of the type more psychological, because the man just by looking at women believes that she is superficial, i.e. based on physical features attributes psychological characteristics.
In conclusion, prejudices are present in all of us, and in some situations we use it also as a way of categorization. And categorizations make us save time in the mental processes as we have a fixed concept to refer to several things based on this concept, saving energy.

Eva Luna from Isabel Allende

The last book that I read, and that I like the most, was “Eva Luna”. This book was written by one of my favorite novelist Isabel Allende. She is an important Chilean writer how also have written lots of other books that I like such as “La casa de los espiritus”, “Retrato en sepia”, “Hija de la fortuna”, and others.

This book tells the story of Eva from her childhood to her adulthood. She was the daughter of a woman how worked on the house of a doctor, and when she was very child, at the age of 4, her mother die, leaving her at the care of her godmother, a woman how haven’t got maternal instinct. Her godmother immediately sends her to work to another place. In this way she passes from house to house working as a maid. In this way the time passes till she reaches adolescence, and for twist of fate, she starts wandering the streets of Santiago, were she met Riad Halabi, how takes here to live to his house and adopt her as his daughter. In this place, Eva lives her best times of her adolescence. After a setback she returns to the capital, were she pass through lots of adventures of life and finally she find the true love.

This story is very beautiful because, although Eva is really poor and hasn’t got protective factors, she does succeed on her life. During her life there is lot of mystery and magic that she builds, and in this way Eva overcomes all the obstacles emerging.

Constitución

In this Bicentenary I danced very much, because we were celebrating 200 years in commemoration of the first govern committee, and the celebration lasted four days. Because of that, this year, the celebration was for me very very tiring. Later, the next week, I went to class. I had class on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but the Thursday I couldn´t go to my class because I feel sick. For this reason I want to go to Constitución, because in this place I can sleep and relaxing. Constitución is in the seventh region of Chile. In this place lives my oldest brother with his wife and his sons. This place is very special for me, because I feel happy. I feel like as I were child again. That is what I feel, because I play with my nephew and nieces, taking care of them while we had fun. In the summer we go to the beach and climb the sand hill. As well we go to Mutrun hill, where we play on the swings, and we get very entertain there during all the afternoon. .

I love going to Constitución, is a very nice and beautiful place. I go to Constitución with my family (my mother, my father and my brother) every holidays and some times we go in winter vacation. We can’t get bored of going there, we love it!

I recommend this place because it have got a very imponent and beautiful natural view, with lot of animals and vegetation. It also have got beaches, rivers and places to when to dance.

Definitely I love Constitución!
